This question is regarding Bristan Brass Thermostatic Cartridge (not threaded) - CART 06734B

Thermostatic shower valve

Can the Bristan 06734B be installed in the Bristan recessed Artisan shower as most are saying it is just for the shower bar version but it looks exactly the same.
