Black marker lines on cartridge

Hi just received new cart, are the black mark pen lines an indicator of which way up the new cart should be inserted, i.e marks at 12 o’clock? Pic attached

The marks show that the cartridge is at the 38°C position, but it does not indicate the way it should be inserted.
