This question is regarding Bristan CART5 Dual Control Thermostatic Cartridge - 06732COMPL

How to tell if I need a cart 5 06732 or CART 06734B?

Had a plumber come round to look at my shower problem, basically it only produces luke warm water no matter where the temperature lever is at.



He suggested getting a new cartridge valve and he would fit it.



Took a picture of the front but he didn't take out the cartridge itself. (See attached).



The shower is a Bristan PRISM shower which was fitted in 2009.



Id appreciate any advice as I don't want to order the wrong one!

It could be one of the following cartridges in the links below but  I cant be sure with being able to see the front for the cartridge with the black circular temperature stop being removed. I cant see if the cartridge is plastic or brass.

I'm a little confused that those links you have suggested do not state that they're for a PRISM shower unit (only the QUEST and ARTISAN).



Whereas the link below looks like the shower I have?

and therefore cart 5 06732 or CART 06734B are for the prism?



I bow to your knowledge of course, I dont know why Bristan make it so difficult to ascertain what model of valve is right for the shower you have and why they're many different versions!



I really want to place an order with you and get this sorted but worried about ordering the wrong one!



The plumber did state that it was a brass one but Im not certain that he looked behind the black ring or not.
