Bristan Shower Cartridge

Can you tell me if the Bristan Cooltouch Thermostatic Cartridge - TWK-25 will fit most Bristan showers - I have a Bristan Shower and we regularly have to change the cartridge - this looks very much like the one we have changed but I wanted to be sure. I'm afraid I don't know the model of shower as I am at work but I could find out tonight. thanks
