Faulty shower

Hiya Showerdoc, does the cartridge come with full instructions re. the fitting of the control knob?. Stripped and cleaned the old unit to no avail but not sure if I fitted the controls in the right position and dont want to make the same mistake with the new one. Cheers, Pete.

There are no instructions with the cartridge.
