Trinity shower leaking

Hi, hoping you can help.

I have a Trinity exposed shower. It was running cold and I've since removed the cartridge. The hot/cold tap was seized which we've now managed to loosen. It's now just running (won't turn off) regardless of the position of the flow handle.

I'm assuming that it was the seized tap that was causing it to run cold.

I think in removing the cartridge I've damaged some of the washer/flanges. You'll see the dodgy washer that looks like a condom ring in the picture, this is damaged beyond repair and the flange at the back is also broken.

I think first off I'm going to try new washers unless you recommend anything further. Where can I get these?

And do you think I'm on the right path? Should I be looking at changing the thermostat?

Thanks in advance,

Mark.
