Folding Bath Screen

We have a folding bath screen with a seal that looks like this one. However, our current seal folds with the screen. To do this the U-shape of the seal (the bit that clips on to the glass) is cut away wherever the screen folds. How flexible is the blade part of your seal? If we were to cut away a section of the the U-shape to copy our old seal would it fold back on itself?

Sorry , without seeing and beeing able to check the arrangement you have, I am unable to say if what you propose will work or not. It maybe the case of try and see.
