Can I use this sealant to plug the gap in the chrome clasps which attach my folding shower screen door to the fixed glass shower screen. At the moment I have a shower sealant strip which does not cover the small gaps between the two chrome clasps which attach the folding door which swings inwards and out wards to enable access in to the bath in our small and narrow bathroom. The top clasp is not a problem but the water from the shower leaks through the gaps between the lower clasp

This item is only used on non jointed shower screens.
