Carbon Brushes for Mira Event

The thermostat of my Mira Event power shower needed replacing after nearly 17 years of use. On opening the enclosure, I found a heavy coating of carbon over all the interior components and on investigation, the carbon brushes were badly worn. The cost of replacing the brushes was only a fraction of replacing the motor. After a clean, replacing the thermostat and carbon brushes, my shower is almost as good as new.
