Creda 8500 running cold

Hi,

My Creda 8500 starts to run cold when shower head removed from holder and used at knee height & returns to normal temperature when shower head replaced in holder.

Micro-switches recently replaced because unit was switching between hot and cold when in use (that cured that particular fault).

The things to check first are.

1 That the main valve coming into your house is fully open.

2 Then check that the valve on the line to the shower is fully open.

If these valves are not fully open then there may not be enough water
getting to your shower open / close the safety device that allows power through to the elements

A rough test (Not guaranteed!) would be to turn the shower on and then open the cold tap at the kitchen sink, if the shower then goes cold you have a pressure / flow problem
