not working on hot setting

Hi, my shower isn't working on the hot setting , water comes out but only at medium hot temperature. I can get it to work on high by putting selector switch between medium and high but I'm concerned I may cause it to start ''shorting out'' by having it half way like this .I don't think it can be the element as I don't think it would work on high at all if it was and the high setting LED comes on and the water runs hot when wedged at the half and half point so any suggestions please?

From your description it is very difficult to say what thefault may be, it may be the switches on the tank base assembly that aresticking (part 2)  or the cam and adaptor(part7) that has somehow gone out of alignment.

I think you should switch the power off remove the cover andsee if you can see any obvious reason for the switching mechanism not workingproperly.
