Micro switches

When rotating the temperature control only the lower power element operates, manually depressing the switches brings in the second element. Are these switches adjustable or should they be replaced or are the levers a known fault. Thanks

The switching assembly maybe the fault if the micro switches work if manually depressed, and this maybe needing replaced.
