Water leaking

This morning whilst I was using the shower, there was a 'pop', and quite a lot of water began to pour out from the bottom, behind the hose connected to the head. How can I fix this? Thanks.

The pressure relief device has activated, this will need replaced.

It’s a safety device on the bottom of the heating tank.

It is fairly easy to replace however there is usually something that causes it to blow,

often a kink in the hose or the showerhead is blocked, so check this before fitting the new PRD.
