creda shower stopping

the shower starts as normal then cuts out after about 20 seconds. if you hold the start /stop button in shower keeps going.i notice that there is a green flash in the shower phased relay. item 16 in your diagram of spares when i press the on off switch on. the shower has not been used for a couple of months

I think it is the phased shut down relay that is faulty.

The other possibility is a faulty solenoid valve see belowfor how to check this.

 

It may be your solenoidvalve, you can check it if you have a multi meter, you should have a reading ofat least k3.5 ohms, across the two terminals any less and you need a new valve.(Check the valve in the failed state.)(When it has stopped working!)

If there is powergetting to the solenoid and it is not operating then there is a good chancethat you have a faulty solenoid.
