broken exposed shower valve with 22mm copper pipe inlet - 130mm pipe centres

Hi there, I have just been working on a broken shower valve. The plan was to remove it and replace it with another exposed shower valve. However after isolating the water and removing the valve I realised the pipework is 22mm. What are the suggestions to fix the shower valve? The customer would like a new shower. I am not sure where to try and find an irregular valve that can connect to the copper pipe or access the pipework from behind (it's an interal plasterboard wall), cut the plasterboard and change the pipework to 15mm where I can find a few options of shower valves to suit?? any advice much appreciated. Thanks, Katie

this is the valve but you do not say the fault.
There are no replacement showers that use the same size pipe work that we know of.

There is a Q&A section at the bottom of the page that may help with the fault that it is having.
