This question is regarding Crosswater 3/4 Flow Cartridge - X2A071N

Merlyn Tower Shower

I went to replace the on/off cartridge on a merlyn tower shower, when I took the old cartridge out there was an extended spindle... but the screw was stuck inside and I wasn’t able to get it out, which broke the extended spindle. Please could you help out. Thanks

Did you not get the picture?? It’s just a normal 3/4 cartridge that you get!! It just had the extended spindle on to it... one end is female which pushes on to the cartridge spindle and the other other male which the shower control pushes on to.

The cartridge has been fitted onto the shows unit but like I said in last message it’s a normal 3/4 cartridge

There is no such thing as a " just a normal 3/4 cartridge" , they come with different spindle sizes and threads.

I was just wondering if you have or know anywhere where I can get the extended spindle that I sent you in the picture?? The cartridge I got from merlyn and it’s a 3/4 cartridge 1/4 turn but it’s the actual spindle extension bar that I need... merlyn don’t have any and don’t supply them anymore.

The product x2a071n spindle head would fit the female end of the extension bar, but the male end which goes onto the shower control is the next size up

Sorry , no, as we would go to the manufacturer for this and if they do not have them we cannot get them.
