This question is regarding Crosswater 3/4 Flow Cartridge - X2A071N

Merlyn wall mounted 3 port valve

The bath fill via the overflow is cotinually dripping. Will changing the cross flow cartridge of the 'tap' fill cure this. The Merlyn 3 port valve was installed in 2006 and has round valve knobs. Is cartridge X2A071N the correct component?

Merlyn is a range of showers not a specific valve I am fairly certain that this is the cartridge you need however if you can send a photo of the valve or better still the cartridge then we will be able to confirm

Here are 2 photographs of the actual valve. I do not want to disassemble the valve until I have the correct component.

Without seeing the cartridge we will not know if the X2A071N is the correct component

Hello Barrie,

Thanks for getting back to me. Please find attached photos of the cartridge. The unit measures 90mm in
length and there is a 10mm spline at the end. The shaft extension can be removed.

This looks like it maybe the older version which the above replaced.
