This question is regarding Crosswater Kai Thermostatic Bar Shower, Valve Only (Chrome)

Thermostatic Cartridge - EV1210EC Bar mixer

I have just received the above. Do I need to set the temperature before fitting to Bar mixer? There are 2 red marks on the valve. Should they be lined up before fitting?

Please advise.

No, you need to fit the cartridge first before trying to set the temperature.
