This question is regarding Crosswater On/Off Cartridge From Ev1210ec (New Style) - Cg1210fa2

Hello, I have received delivery of this part from you but it is labelled as CG1210FA2 and it is shorter in length than the original bathstore cartridge which I have removed from our metro exposed thermostatic shower valve. Can you confirm that your part is equivalent to the EV1210EC part before I try to fit it. Thank you, Ken Pender

If you can take a picture of the shower and the cartridges side by side then we will get back to you with the information to solve this.

Hello Barrie,

Thank you for your reply. Photos attached as requested. Second photo compares the Shower Doctor cartridge (upper) with the EV1210EC unit (lower) which appears to be longer in the axial direction.

According to the manufacturer this is the replacement for the top cartridge.
