Valve gets stiff

I bought a replacement valve from you last October for my shower. After about 6 or 7 months of daily use the valve has got really stiff and difficult to turn. Previous valve had same problem. I tried using de-scaler, which loosened it a bit but still not as good as when new. Is this a fault with the valve?

If you have scale in your system this may contribute to the stiffening of the cartridge. And if this is the previous problem , then this is likely to be the cause.
