Combi boiler

I'm replacing the mixer valve as cold water is getting into the sealed hot water system. The combi boiler was installed after the shower was in place and I'm wondering whether this type of valve is even suitable for a combi boiler system?

Thanks

Sounds like the pressure is too high on the cold side for this cartridge. The valve should cope with balanced pressures of around 3 bar to be efficient.
