crosswater sol cartridge equivalent valves and spares/replacements

my shower which I cant identify is requiring new parts namely a new thermostat knob the on off handle works fine as dose the valve the plumbers all say to cut a hole in the wall remove the old valve and replace with new I am not a fan of this as the valve works fine, the thermo cartridge that's been replaced, works fine its the handle/knob that's broken. all this type of incet shower have a 80mm centre and as far as I am aware all the cartridges are 45mm. So what I need to know is how do I get a new shroud and knob for my shower. would a knob part from a grohe or inta make of shower fit as these resemble the shower I have, they have 2 screws in the plate like mine please help most frustrated

If you can send a photo of the valve then there is a good chance we will be able to ID it. If you can send a of photo of the valve with the knobs and covers removed, so we can see the top part of the cartridge then there is a better chance of us identifying it and if it is possible a photo of the cartridge itself as this will give us a better chance still of identifying the manufacturer.
