thermostatic shower cartridge

Hi my shower no longer runs at the right temp I think the thermo valve is shot. Unfortunaly there are no markings on the unit as to maker.Having taken the catridge out the replacment would apear to be the crosswater GP0012174 the thread is the correct diameter and the overall length is the same as is the apearance. the only marking on the catridge are T01 or To1 stamped on one flat of the spanner hexegon would this be some sort of id code, the shower unit is somthing like 16 or 18 years old and has an oval front plate Can you help please .

If you can send a photo of the valve then there is a good chance we will be able to ID it. If you can send a of photo of the valve with the knobs and covers removed, so we can see the top part of the cartridge then there is a better chance of us identifying it and if it is possible a photo of the cartridge itself as this will give us a better chance still of identifying the manufacturer.

This is the cartridge and the only part of this shower now available. Remember to keep the temperature stop ( black item on the front ) for the new cartridge.
