This question is regarding Crosswater Thermostatic Cartridge - CP0000250 - GP0000250

Cold water cut off by cp0000250

When our plumber fitted this cartridge to our metro shower bought from Bathstore ref: KU2000SQC about 10 years ago it completely cut off the supply of cold water. The water supply is fitted correctly with hot on left, cold on right. Also the collar containing the red button will not slip on easily to the spine.

You might have a faulty cartridge , but either side of the cartridge there are shut off valves, and the cold one may be faulty or closed.
