CP0000250 vs GP0000250

Are the CP and GP cartridges the same - what is the difference?

I have a Bathstore Metro thermostatic valve taps i believe (the one with 3 taps, middle is temp) which i believe from research is the Crosswater 2000/2001 valve.

Is this the right cartridge and is there any difference on CP vs GP?

This is the second time in 3 years the cartridge has gone - is this usual? Could there be another problem? - All other basin taps are ok in the house but think this is the only true thermostatic tap i have, but the plumbing system is a bit antiquated with an electric pump pumping hot water from cylinder in bottom of house and a cold water storage tank in the top of the house.

thanks!

There is no difference be CP and GP cartridges.

These cartridges normally last for 5yrs + So you may want to contact the manufacturer direct to ask them about this.
