Crosswater 1000 Series

I am trying to identify whether the CP0000250 is the correct replacement. I cannot spot one that looks the same. I attach a picture of mine ( exploded view) No mesh. The data sheet supplied had no reference numbers in its exploded view but the cartridge looked like a CP0000250 and the mesh could be seen.

In the 2nd picture at the back of the housing a ring with a hexagonal centre can be seen. Should this be removed before inserting the new cartridge and if so how, eg unscrew? Finally is the spring required and should it be replaced.

Your help would be really appreciated because if a whole complete unit is needed then a lot of tiling is needed as well.

I can’t be sure but it looks like you still have half of the cartridge still in the valve body.
