Crosswater Thermostatic cartridge CP0000250

Is this a genuine brand new (not reconditioned) Crosswater cartridge ?? as a previous one (not from yourselves I hasten to add) was obviously either not genuine or reconditioned as it only lasted about 3 months. Also, can you supply the alan key for this ??
