This question is regarding Crosswater Thermostatic Cartridge - CP0000250 - GP0000250

new cartridge

Can you get a non thermostatic cartridge the same as the gp0000250. Seems like so many problems arise from it being thermostatic. Still having issues with not being able to have a hot bath but the shower is an ok temperature. Having to constantly descale the cartridge every few months and it is getting much stiffer to turn to cold. Any ideas?

No Non thermostatic cartridge available.

 

You shouldn’t need to descale the cartridge every few monthsalso having different temperatures at the shower and bath doesn’t sound right,it could have something to do with the bath and shower having different flowrates, but I wonder if you have some sort of installation issue.
