Quatra Horizontal 3-Hole Shower Valves - cold water flowing in hot water flow
I replaced the 2 NR valves last year and it worked OK until a week ago.
I have taken these valves out and they seem to be working OK.
As an example, when the thermostat is on maximum hot (with red button pressed in), the water temperature is just warm. If I screw the cold water NRV in fully, hot water does come out.
I have tried different combinations of screw positions on both hot and cold NRW but the problem remains.
Do you think I need to change the thermostatic cartridge? I did open it up but didn't know how to test if it's OK or not.

on the cold side may solve the problem.
