This question is regarding Crosswater Thermostatic Cartridge - CP0000250 - GP0000250

RE-FITTING NEW CARTRIDGE

The cartridge has a red line marked on it. Should this be placed in a particular position when putting back into the shower unit? What purpose does it serve?

If you fit the cartridge knobs back on in line with the line then it should be around 40°C

It is just a guide to make it easier to fit
