Removing CP0000250

I have tried to remove this cartridge from my bathstore (crosswater) Metro thermostatic bath shower however the top section has unscrewed and can be removed successfully, however, leaving the filter section still in the shower valve housing. The circular disc and spring (cartridge internals) can be removed also but I'm not sure how I can get the filter section unscrewed as there is nothing to 'grip' onto to allow the unscrewing. Any ideas?

The filter section is just held in by 3 "O" rings , so if you can get something inside and pull it should come out. Maybe use some WD 40 on the area first.

A bit of elbow grease and a crude homemade metal 'tool' got it out.
Cheers for the advise Barrie!

The cartridge should not come apart as you have done.

If the filter section is still inside the shower then it is only held in by "O" rings. A wee bit of WD 40 sprayed into the body may make it easier to remove this .
