This question is regarding Crosswater Thermostatic Cartridge - CP0000250 - GP0000250

Removing old cartridge

I seem to have a Bathstore "Crosswater" thermostatic valve GX1000RC and it runs lukewarm. It lookslike it has one of these CP0000250 cartridges inside it. I'm told that I need to remove the old one and either clean or replaceit. But I cannot get it out because none of my spanners will go into the restricted space that it fits in to. I need some kind of box spanner- can you advise on the type/size required? Can you also confirm that I have the CP0000250 type of cartridge?

Probably best with a 22mm box key
