Replacement cartridge
The cartridge should just in screw and the new one screw in.
However................
There are occasions when you unscrew the cartridge only the front part of the cartridge comes out and the rear of the cartridge stays in the valve, if this happens removing the rear of the cartridge can be difficult / impossible.
