ax3 problem

shower will only heat up when turned back to the cold settings. is there afilter in the cold water line as I suspect the problem is pressure

There is a filter in the inlet, but I think the problem may lie with the,

Is the above the same as the Dimplex AX3 as they look the same, i have got a faulty element?
