LEAKING TAP

My Domi Solo bath tap is leaking between the bath a tap base, would changing the cartridge reslove the issue? Brought this new house from a plumber!!

Leaks normally come from the cartridge area, but you are describing it leaking from between the bath and the bottom of the tap, this would be unusual, if this is the case I think you need to remove the tap to have a look.
