i have no hot water coming from the unit do i need a new engine or can thermostat be replaced ?

Unfortunately the TCO is not available as a spare part from the manufacturer and the engine will need replaced. Alternatively you might be better opting for a new unit as this can happen to the new engine at some point and you will be in the same position.
