Gainsborough SE 8.5

I have a Gainsborough Energy 1000. I wish to replace this with the SE 8.5. Is the water inlet connection in exactly the same place for the above mentioned because I've got trouble moving the water supply. Is it just a straight forward swop one for the other?

The water inlet is not in exactly the same position  it is similar however it is not a like for like swap, however it is not too far away depending on how the existing shower has been fitted.

Triton has recently brought out the T80Z this shower has been designed round being a retrofit unit  (Tritons word not mine!)

The pipe work can be brought in from almost any position and there is a reasonable amount of space for cable entry from most positions.
