This question is regarding Gainsborough 850 (Original) - Shower Spares

Gainsborough 850 does not turn on.

No water at all. What can it be. The power switch in the airing cupboard lights up but not the shower power light and no water at all. Was ok then just stopped

You have to check that there is 230-240v into the shower and if so you may have a faulty solenoid if one is fitted.
