9.5 scl leak

can you please tell me how to stop the leak from the branch in the outlet tube via the small plastic ball that is letting water past it,and why is the ball and branch there anyway,what is it supposed to do, other than leak! thanks if you can help. Roger Richardson

This is a pressure relief device designed to protect the unit from high pressures. Replacement can be ordered online by clicking on the link below, but before fitting check that hose is not kinked or collapsed internally and head is clear.
