Gainsborough Diplomat

When i turn the shower off there is a load humming noise coming from the shower as if the pump is still trying to operate. When i kill the power to the transformer the noise stops. When i turn the power back on the nosie starts again. Is this a faulty transformer or faulty pump??

I have also experienced problems where the pump doesnt start when i have turned the shower on.

Any ideas??

The problem is from the wiring loom which has buttons which sometimes stick.

This is usually caused by water from a leaking cartridge. Best to check this as well.
