Water temperature problem
The reason for this is there may not enough water passing through the shower to keep it cool, if it overheats the safety device cuts of the power until it cools, once it is cold the safety device turns on the power again and the cycle starts over.
It may be worth phoning your water supplier and checking that they haven't had the water pressure turned down for any reason, your shower needs a minimum of 1bar to work properly.
In your case fitting a new stab/flow valve is not possible you would have to think about replacing the shower.
Unfortunately there is no direct change over for your shower.
The Triton fast fit is probably the easiest change over.

Regarding the rating there should be a label on the bottom or inside also it will be stamped into the top of the heating tank although this may be difficult to see.
