Gainsborough shoaer Energy 1000 - Electrical Fault

The red light does not come on when chord is pulled; hence no power. I have checked the connections and they seem fine. could the unit be faulty ?

You need to check that there is 230-240v into the shower in order to eliminate this in the problem solving.
