Replacement of Energy 2000

I currently have a Gainsborough Energy 2000 (not an Energy 2000X). Its still working but the flow rate has always been pretty miserable. I would be interested to know what the wattage of this unit is and what I could replace it with which will give a much higher flow rate yet minimise plumbing changes.

There should be a label inside the 2000 giving you the wattage but if not it will be marked on the heating tank , either printed on side or stamped on top.
Our recommended replacement would be the Triton T80z which whilst not a direct replacement shoulkd be a fairly straightforward change over.
If your 2000 is a 7.5kw or an 8.5kw model then the 8,5kw T80z can be fitted with no alteration to cable or mcb rating.
If you decide to go for a 9.5kw T80z then have the supply cable checked by an electrician and the mcb will have to be 40amp rating.
The appropriate wattage T80z can be ordered online via the link below.
