The way in which the user control knob engages/meshes with the valve is a very poor method. the plastic alignment pin is too weak and subject to breaking away from the cover. this gives poor meshing,, so the knob slips around without turning the valve control.
For this reason, I would not recommend purchase of this type of shower.
It would be quite simple and much better to have the control knob
directly engaging the valve control by desingning the back end of the user knob with an INTERNAL mesh completely surrounding the valve cogwheel.. Not rocket science and just as cheap to produce.
