Knob on shower keeps turning once on
I think you mean the cog with the teeth and some of theteeth are worn or missing/
Unfortunately if this is the case then you are going to needa new shower as this part is nolonger available.
You could try removing and repositioning the cog, however Iam not sure that this would work
If you are going to replace the shower the Triton Fast Fit isprobably your easiest option

What happens is the cog that is attached to the operating handle on the front of the shower becomes loose and the movement created means it stops meshing with the valve cog.
The alignment post can not take the strain and snaps. You can as I have done superglue it back on and dont forget to tighten the screw in the operating handle cog it sits next to.
This is definate a weakness with this model
