jetmaster 1000 not working

The transformer fuse keeps blowing, even 10 amp. Does this indicate that the transformer is at fault or maybe that too much current is being drawn, in which case it would seem that either the circuit board or switch reed would be the cause. How can I arrive at a correct diagnosis, please?

The most likely fault is the motor and pump has started tofail, or become sticky and is drawing too much current, unfortunately the motorand pump unit is now obsolete.
