Gainsborough Monarch 407

Hi shower Doc,

I have an old 407 that has recently stopped providing hot water. I've checked the main fuse at the separate fuse box and it's ok. The setting indication lights still come on and water flow rate is good, but the water remains cold. The question is:

a) are there any internal fuses that could cause this problem or,

b) is likely to be caused by the heating element in the copper inner container?

I'm aware that the shower is ripe for up-grading, which is due to happen this summer, until then desperate for a possible temporary solution. Any advice appreciated.

Best regards.

It is either the tco or the elements in the heating can, but as both these are now obsolete it is time for a new shower.
