This question is regarding Gainsborough Pressure Relief Device 9.5kw - 95607524

pressure relief device gainsborough energy 2000x

I recently bought this but from previous answers was under the impression a small ball was required/included? Is this true for the energy 2000x model?

This pressure relief device does not have the small rubber ball you refer to , it operates in atotally different fashion by bending the metal bracket that holds it in place and a new bracket comes with it.
