Regent 111 Shower

Is there a washer you can change on the water control valve. As mine is tight to turn.

The water control valve is now obsolete and Gainsboroughconsidered this a sealed part, however the washer in side is the size normallyused in a water heater (Smaller than a standard tap washer) The difficulty inreplacing this is in getting the valve to split apart so you can get in to thewasher.
