Cant the Royale shower be used on a Combi boiler?

Yes if the water pressures, hot and cold are roughly similarand not too high (say not much more than three bar)also using flow limiters (Rand Q) may help if the pressures are unbalanced.

However this is a fairly old shower so my advice would be tojust let the combi be connected to it and see what happens if there are anyproblems then don’t waste any time or money just have it changed to a moremodern valve that is combi compatible.
